What would you highlight about Montauk Suites
It was a great experience, I absolutely love the place!
The whole place looks nice, as shown in the pics. It's located in a small alley, but easy to reach. There's a minimarket nearby, which is opened 24h (or at least until late at night), so it's convenient if you need anything. It's on walking distance to cafe, resto, motorbike rent. And it has pool!
One of the occupant during my stay brought dog so it was kinda incovenient when you want to relax while having a dog following you around and sniffing you. Also, it would be nice if the room can be cleaned daily.

Worn-out Villa
Good location, close to Berawa beach (5 mins by bike). Villa is quiet at night as it is located right inside a small alley.
Villa seemed to be not well-maintained for a while (quite different from photos which are seamless clean/bright). Stayed 1 night at room 1 (downstairs/next to kitchen). Cleanliness was passable though the air-conditioning is quite outdated, it get pretty stuffy/hot trying to sleep in evening. As the room is next to kitchen it also gets noisy if you are light-sleeper like I am. Cooking smells can travel to the room too. Came back here for initially 1-week stay at one of the room on second floor. (Room 3 or 4) Informed the cleaner staffs that the toilet has number of cockroaches, he simply sprayed baygon and did not even dispose the dead corpse properly and left. Room was previously stayed by a person for couple months so perhaps it needed deep-cleaning. Definitely think the villa can be a great place to stay if it's well maintained and cleaned properly. There are tons of other guesthouses around the area that has the same costs and much more comfortable if you are someone who is particular on hygiene.

Nada and Will were great hosts. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was excellent. The pool was very refreshing. The lounge chairs made for a nice nap in the sun. The bed was perfect!
No complaints!
